COOKIE POLICY

Last updated: 28th November 2025

FRETPAL LTD’S COOKIE PRINCIPLES

At FRETPAL LTD, cookies are treated with dignity and restraint.

We do not use them to analyse, market, or track.

Our policy is simple:

  • Essential Cookies These sustain FRETPAL’s rhythm and cannot be muted. They keep the site secure, stable, and in tune.

  • Functional Cookies These enable optional services such as embedded YouTube videos. They add colour and arrangement to your experience, but only load if you give consent. Without consent, these features remain disabled.

  • No Analytics, No Marketing, No Tracking We do not set analytics cookies to analyse your browser behaviour. We do not set marketing cookies to try to sell you things you do not want. We do not set tracking cookies to follow you around the internet.

FRETPAL sets one consent cookie only, to remember your choice – and nothing else.

NOT NOW, NOT EVER…

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Where we embed or link to external services (e.g. YouTube), those services may set their own cookies once you consent or leave the FRETPAL website.

These are not controlled by FRETPAL LTD, and are clearly signposted as external.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website.

Some cookies are essential – like backstage passes to the FRETPAL experience.

Cookies can be:

  • Session cookies: vanish when you close your browser.

  • Persistent cookies: remain for a while, remembering your preferences.

  • First‑party cookies: set by FRETPAL LTD directly.

  • Third‑party cookies: set by services we use (e.g. page builder tools).

WHY WE USE COOKIES

We use cookies to:

  • Ensure the FRETPAL site functions smoothly (essential cookies).

  • Remember your consent choice (functional cookie).

COOKIES AND TRACKING

FRETPAL LTD does not use analytics or marketing cookies.

We do not track visitor behaviour, profile users, or share data with third parties for advertising purposes.

The only cookie placed by our website is a functional record of your consent choice. Its sole purpose is to remember whether you have accepted or declined our banner, so that you are not asked to repeat the decision on each visit.

This cookie does not identify you, and no further data is collected.

COOKIE CONSENT AND CONTROL

When you first visit the FRETPAL site, you’ll meet our cookie banner. You can accept or decline the functional consent cookie. Your choice will be remembered until you change it.

You can change your mind anytime by clicking the COOKIES button at the bottom left‑hand corner of any page on our website. Or you can clear cookies in your browser.

COOKIES & CONSENT LOGGING

At FRETPAL LTD, we treat cookies not as clutter, but as artefacts of choice.

When you set your cookie preferences, that act is logged — not as a dossier of your identity, but as an anonymised record, a simple echo that proves your sovereignty was honoured.

  • What is logged → Only the fact of your consent choice (accept, deny, preferences).

  • How it is stored → As an anonymised consent ID, detached from your name, email, or any other identifier.

  • Why it is kept → Solely to demonstrate compliance with data protection law.

  • What is not done → These records are never used for marketing, tracking, or profiling.

  • Retention → Records are retained for 12 months or until consent is changed.

BROWSER COOKIE CONTROL

You can manage or delete cookies directly in your browser settings.

Most browsers let you block third‑party cookies, clear browsing data, or set site‑specific preferences. For detailed guidance, check your browser’s help section:

  • Firefox: Manage Cookies
