DATA RIGHTS REQUEST

FRETPAL LTD honours your data rights with editorial clarity and legal dignity – no profiling, no ambiguity, no thresholds required.

This page allows you to submit a formal request regarding your personal data, regardless of where you live.

FRETPAL LTD is located in the United Kingdom, and is registered and regulated under UK and EU GDPR (General Data Privacy Regulation) law.

FRETPAL LTD does not meet the statutory thresholds for other privacy laws—such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), or similar frameworks in other jurisdictions around the world.

We don’t have to comply with other international privacy laws – however, just because we don’t have to, doesn’t mean we won’t.

WHAT ARE OUR LEGAL OBLIGATIONS TO OTHER COUNTRIES?

What are the thresholds that oblige us to conform with other international privacy laws?

Let’s use the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) as an example.

Compliance with CPRA is not mandatory if FRETPAL LTD does not:

  • Have a physical presence in California.

  • Have employees, offices or agents operating outside the UK.

  • Engage in targeted advertising or behavioural profiling to Californian residents.

  • Sell or share personal data or excessively use any sensitive personal data of Californian residents..

  • Have an annual gross revenue exceeding $25 million USD from Californian residents.

  • Hold 100,000+ consumer records (e-mail addresses or other personal data) of Californian residents.

FRETPAL LTD is a new company with a newly launched branded product and does not meet any of these thresholds.

We remain focused on editorial clarity and user dignity – not scale for scale’s sake.

Whilst these thresholds apply to CPRA laws, other countries in the world have privacy laws that require similar thresholds which require mandatory compliance, and FRETPAL LTD does not meet the threshold criteria to comply with them either.

Nonetheless, FRETPAL LTD voluntarily aligns with all shared principles such as transparency, data minimisation, and respect for user rights.

We honour valid requests under GDPR, CPRA, POPIA, PIPL, and all other international frameworks that are known to us – even when not legally required to do so – because editorial dignity transcends borders.

Different privacy laws have different mandatory data access rights that must be honoured.

To respect your rights, we offer region-specific forms that reflect the privacy law requirements of your country -ensuring your request is honoured with precision and clarity.

Targeting means tailoring content or services based on behavioural data, location, or inferred preferences. FRETPAL LTD does not engage in such practices

It also means actively marketing to or profiling people in a specific jurisdiction. FRETPAL LTD doesn’t do that. We’re here to empower users, not chase them across borders.

Yes. FRETPAL application licences are tied directly to your e-mail address, which is mandatory for activation and access. If you request deletion of your personal data—including your email—we’ll honour that request, however, unfortunately it will result in the termination of any registered licence(s) you hold for the FRETPAL application. We will confirm any such action with you before we go ahead and deactivate any licence(s) you hold.
