Our servers are located in the United Kingdom, United States, and France. 

Regardless of where you live, your information may be handled in these locations or by trusted third-party providers operating in similar jurisdictions.

If you’re based in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, rest assured that these regions benefit from robust data protection laws recognised as adequate under EU standards.

STANDARD CONTRACTUAL CLAUSES.

In short: FRETPAL is designed for adults, but we know that curiosity – and creativity – starts young.

We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children under 18, and our Services aren’t tailored for minors. 

If we ever discover that personal information has been submitted by someone underage without verified consent, we’ll delete it promptly and respectfully.

That said, if a young guitarist finds inspiration in FRETPAL’s rhythm, we welcome their curiosity. 

We just ask that a parent or guardian be involved if personal data is ever shared.

FRETPAL’s rhythm is tuned for grown-ups, but we never discourage early curiosity. 

If a young person finds their way here, we fade in gently – and protect their privacy with care.

CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES.

In short: Most browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature. FRETPAL does not respond to DNT signals – because it doesn’t need to. 

We don’t follow you across other sites, and we don’t build behavioural profiles. 

Our rhythm is editorial, not algorithmic.

That said, FRETPAL does honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals, which are browser-based opt-out mechanisms recognised under certain privacy laws. 

While not legally required, we voluntarily respect GPC signals as part of our commitment to editorial clarity and user autonomy.

If this ever changes, we’ll update this notice – clearly, calmly, and in tune with our values.

FRETPAL LTD doesn’t need a Do Not Track signal to respect your rhythm – but it honours GPC signals anyway, because dignity doesn’t wait for thresholds.

FRETPAL LTD does not track, profile, or target users – but we still honour opt-out signals sent via the GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL (GPC) feature, in line with our commitment to clarity and user autonomy.

You may designate an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf. 

We may deny requests from agents who fail to provide valid authorisation under applicable laws.

REQUEST VERIFICATION.

We verify your identity before processing any request. 

We use personal information provided in your request solely for verification purposes. 

If we cannot verify your identity using existing records, we may request additional information to confirm your identity and protect against fraud.

If you submit a request through an authorised agent, we may ask for written and signed permission from you before processing the request.

APPEALS.

If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing support@fretpal.co.uk. 

We will respond in writing with our decision and reasoning. If we deny your appeal, you may submit a complaint to your state attorney general.
